About us

“Ft. Wayne’s 1st original Latin jazz band”

Brief History:

TM Latin Jazz Sounds, originally known as Havana Heat, made their debut at Henry’s on December 12, 1995, and the band continued to play venues such as the Botanic Gardens Wine Tasting Event, 75th anniversary of the Fort Wayne Art Museum, The Embassy, Three Rivers Festival, Foellinger Theatre, The Summit Club, as well as many private events.

However, in 2008, band leader, composer & pianist, Tony Marino moved out of the area and the band went on hiatus. Tony is now back, living in Ft Wayne, IN and the band is “up and playing” again.

The Band Today:

Tony Marino’s Latin Jazz Sounds is a Ft. Wayne-based, 5 piece band, that performs original Latin jazz compositions and some jazz standards.

Band members are Tony Marino (band leader, composer, piano), Dave Streeter (Sax, Flute), Michael Patterson (Bass), Terry Vaughn (drums), and Al Parr (Trumpet, Flugelhorn).
